Folke Jonsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivar Rolfsson in the 4th minute. Folke Jonsson went to the wrong direction when Arvin Blomberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nils Ahlquist struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Folke Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piteå. Skarplöt FF's Folke Jonsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Ahlquist in the 18th minute of play. Folke Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Ahlquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Folke Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Ahlquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Skarplöt FF's Thomas Månsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Otto Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ivar Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Jonsson having to interfere. Oscar Wallin kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Piteå's Nils Ahlquist in the 46th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Folke Jonsson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Skarplöt FF through an amazing save. Folke Jonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Ahlquist in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Nils Ahlquist scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Jonsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skarplöt FF's goalkeeper Folke Jonsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Skarplöt FF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Månsson. Ivar Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Ahlquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folke Jonsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivar Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Nils Ahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Folke Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Sandell having to interfere. Skarplöt FF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
