With a little luck, New Orleans Saints's Kasper Friberger got control of the ball when Erik Persson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasper Friberger having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Holger Rosén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. New Orleans Saints's Kasper Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Persson in the 54th minute of play. Kasper Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Brovall in the 56th minute of play. If Erik Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kasper Friberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Rosén in the 70th minute of the match. Kasper Friberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Rosén, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
