The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jörgen Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Wiklund having to interfere. Charlie Wiklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Ove Åkerman went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 minutes, Albert Asplund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hemmingsmark BK and the Lerum FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lerum FF booed when Hemmingsmark BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Friberger in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charlie Wiklund saved Lerum FF from getting behind. Charlie Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Vinström in the 19th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Herbert Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charlie Wiklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jörgen Friberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Charlie Wiklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Lerum FF's zone, Herbert Uggla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Wiklund came out of the goal and Herbert Uggla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Hemmingsmark BK's Jörgen Friberger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Jörgen Friberger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hemmingsmark BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Charlie Wiklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Uggla in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Hemmingsmark BK's Jörgen Friberger made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charlie Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Friberger to make the kick off. Herbert Uggla struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Charlie Wiklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hemmingsmark BK. 53 minutes into the match, Lerum FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Friberger came free, but Charlie Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jörgen Friberger came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Hemmingsmark BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Friberger couldn't finish the play. Lerum FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jörgen Friberger 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Lerum FF's Charlie Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Åkerman in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Friberger in the 70th minute of play forced Lerum FF's goalkeeper Charlie Wiklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jörgen Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
