Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Håkan Möller kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Herbert Uggla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hemmingsmark BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Uggla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Olof Gregersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jörgen Friberger, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Per-Olof Gregersson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Herbert Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Olof Gregersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Olof Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Uggla in the 19th minute of the match. Jörgen Friberger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Uggla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Per-Olof Gregersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Friberger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Gregersson having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Hannes Holmgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per-Olof Gregersson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hemmingsmark BK's Herbert Uggla got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 33 minutes, Håkan Möller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Möller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Olof Gregersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Friberger in the 36th minute of play. Ulf Lilja kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Sandhult's Per-Olof Gregersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Uggla in the 40th minute of play. If Herbert Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörgen Friberger made a kick off. Henrik Hammarström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Hääger having to interfere. Per-Olof Gregersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Friberger in the 58th minute of play. If Jörgen Friberger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hemmingsmark BK's Jörgen Friberger in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandhult's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, Sandhult's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herbert Uggla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Herbert Uggla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Per-Olof Gregersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Friberger in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Olof Gregersson saved Sandhult from getting behind. Henrik Hammarström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Verner Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Hemmingsmark BK got a freekick which was hit by Jan Jakobsson. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Friberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Olof Gregersson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After 94 minutes, Henrik Hammarström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandhult and the Hemmingsmark BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hemmingsmark BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
