Roger Nordlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Nordlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Nordlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Håning, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Älvsered BK's Roger Nordlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Håning in the 28th minute of play. Leif Gerdberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Nordlund having to make a save. Roger Nordlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Jansson in the 33rd minute of play. Älvsered BK's Roger Nordlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Jansson in the 35th minute of play. Roger Nordlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Sjö in the 36th minute of play. Roger Nordlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Håning in the 38th minute of the match. Ekerö IF's Oskar Samuelsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roger Nordlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 40 minutes into the game, Timmy Askestät was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älvsered BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekerö IF the free kick. After 40 played minutes Älvsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Askestät. Roger Nordlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Gerdberg in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älvsered BK's goalkeeper Roger Nordlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leif Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leif Gerdberg to make the kick off. If Olle Kiempe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ekerö IF fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Ekerö IF's Leif Gerdberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt Håning charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Håning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Fred Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Gerdbergs short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Roger Nordlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Torsten Rosen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Roger Nordlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekerö IF. Rikard Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-5 became the score in the 74th minute when Leif Gerdberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leif Gerdberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Roger Nordlund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 84 played minutes Älvsered BK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Backlund. Leif Gerdberg scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Nordlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stig-Ove Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Hedbom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stig-Ove Sjögren. Ekerö IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ekerö IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Älvsered BK.
