In the 4th minute, Yngve Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Örtlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Bäckström in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Axel Öfverman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ankarsrum RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Ankarsrum RK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Ugla came free, but Martin Örtlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Ahlbeck scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Erik Ståhlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Daniel Collin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ankarsrum RK's Isak Ahlbeck got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Britz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lokomotiv Lycksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Britz to maneuver through the defense. Isak Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Daniel Collin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Ståhlberg, 3-0. Lokomotiv Lycksele's Karl-Erik Ståhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Biörk in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmie Bäckström to make the kick off. Ankarsrum RK's Martin Örtlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ankarsrum RK from getting a goal against them. Stig-Arne Ugla kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Isak Ahlbeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Erik Ståhlberg was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After having played for 68 minutes, Jimmie Bäckström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Lycksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Bäckström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmie Bäckström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Daniel Collin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Martin Örtlund was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Åström. If Oliver Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Ankarsrum RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. Lokomotiv Lycksele's Jonas Åström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ankarsrum RK. The supporters of Ankarsrum RK booed when Lokomotiv Lycksele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isak Ahlbeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Folke Hjortsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Örtlund having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Jimmie Bäckström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Lycksele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmie Bäckström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Ankarsrum RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lokomotiv Lycksele had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
