Sverker Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Hedlund in the 3rd minute of the match. When Katrineholm's Robin Lindgren in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lund Lunatics's goalie prevented a goal. Lund Lunatics's Sverker Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Hedlund in the 6th minute of play. When Katrineholm's Robin Lindgren in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lund Lunatics's goalie prevented a goal. Johan Brovall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Ingvall having to interfere. Katrineholm's Sören Ingvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Katrineholm from getting a goal against them. In the 15th match minute, Katrineholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. Lund Lunatics's Ingvar Finsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olof Nordin's late challenge caught a Katrineholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Nordin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Olof Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Lund Lunatics's Ingvar Finsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sören Ingvall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ingvar Finsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ingvar Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ingvar Finsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Ingvall having to interfere. Ingvar Finsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sören Ingvall having to make a save. In the 39th minute Robin Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th match minute, Katrineholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Svensson to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Olof Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Robin Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Lindgren in the 73rd minute of play forced Lund Lunatics's goalkeeper Sverker Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Hultin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Ingvall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Robin Lindgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sverker Biörnberg, 1-2. Lund Lunatics's Sverker Biörnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Lindgren in the 91st minute of play. Kent Hultin's late challenge caught a Katrineholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Hultin hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Lund Lunatics's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Lindgren came free, but Sverker Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Katrineholm players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
