Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) Wiktor Ekerot started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Timmy Bokelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Robert Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dick Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Nyman having to interfere. Dick Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Mårtensson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Jan-Olof Mogren fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dals Långed's protests and gave Jan-Olof Mogren a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Dals Långed got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Mogren. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östhammar's goalkeeper Folke Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Östhammar's Folke Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Håkansson in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Dals Långed's Wiktor Ekerot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Nyman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Östhammar's Folke Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Håkansson in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Timmy Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Håkansson in the 31st minute of the match. Timmy Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Måns Beckström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Eriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Jan-Olof Mogren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Nyman. Östhammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Olof Mogren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timmy Bokelund made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Östhammar got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Bogren. Dick Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Folke Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Dals Långed's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Beckström came free, but Robert Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timmy Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Ekerot hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Måns Beckström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Dals Långed's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Bokelund came free, but Robert Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Gottfrid Hult hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Östhammar's Måns Beckström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dick Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Ekerot struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Folke Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dals Långed. Dick Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Folke Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Östhammar getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jan-Olof Bogren hit a great ball. Robert Eriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timmy Bokelund's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Robert Eriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Olof Bogren went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Östhammar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dals Långed had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
