After a defensive mix-up in REAL MADRID's zone, Kasper Andersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Käller came out of the goal and Kasper Andersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Ola Malm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Käller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Sellberg in the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Claes Sellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jämse's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Sellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Käller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Jämse players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. REAL MADRID were winning 0-1.

Claes Sellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Käller having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Öfverman got free with Jens-Ola Malm in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Claes Sellberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of REAL MADRID were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Jämse side.
