When Jämse's Claes Sellberg in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wilhelm Lindgren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Claes Sellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Lindgren having to interfere. Anderstorp's Torbjörn Thidén pulled a muscle in his back after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birger Ahlroht during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Birger Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd match minute, Anderstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Skager to maneuver through the defense. Claes Sellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilhelm Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Birger Ahlroht struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wilhelm Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
