An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Josefsson in the 16th minute of play forced Enånger IK's goalkeeper Jonny Walmarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Leif Busk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Enånger IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Busk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kvarteret Skatan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Olof Jansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Enånger IK's Axel Kiempe got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
