After 15 minutes, Eskil Bergvall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ängelsberg and the Bromma IP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bromma IP booed when Ängelsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Bergvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Kjellkvist's late challenge caught a Ängelsberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Kjellkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bromma IP's Walter Söderberg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Olof Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Hallgren having to interfere. Bromma IP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ängelsberg the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Ahlstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Bromma IP got a freekick which was hit by Elof Lindsten. Yngve Söderqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yngve Söderqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Hallgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Olof Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ängelsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Olof Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Leif Ahlstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ängelsberg's Gert Collin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bromma IP's Elof Lindsten got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Elof Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bromma IP's Sten Hallgren got control of the ball when Yngve Söderqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Bromma IP's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Abrahamsson came free, but Sten Hallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Lindsten in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gert Collin saved Ängelsberg from getting behind. The supporters of Bromma IP booed when Ängelsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Pilberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Bromma IP got a corner. Ängelsberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonas Löfgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Robin Kjellkvist made a great header on Bromma IP's corner, it was just that Ängelsberg's Gert Collin managed to reach the ball for a save. Yngve Söderqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sten Hallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sten Hallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Abrahamsson in the 96th minute of play. Bromma IP were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ängelsberg for a fine match.
