Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frans Hultin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Hjärup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Beckman to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Arenstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lundkvist in the 5th minute of the match. Hjärup's Matthias Arenstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Lundkvist in the 15th minute of play. Matthias Arenstedt came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dalby's Hans Lundkvist. But to his dismay, Hans Lundkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dalby's Joakim Dalkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frans Hultin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Haraldsson having to interfere. In the 37th minute Frans Hultin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Haraldsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Alexander Wiberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hjärup's Matthias Arenstedt. Matthias Arenstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jack Simonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Peter Haraldsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Lundkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Joakim Dalkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dalby and the Hjärup players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dalby getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Joakim Dalkvist hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalby's Hans Lundkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matthias Arenstedt. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. Matthias Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Dalkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Frans Hultin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70thth minute of the game Frans Hultin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dalby's Peter Haraldsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Wiberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Matthias Arenstedt made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Hjärup's Jack Simonsson got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Frans Hultin came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Hjärup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Hultin couldn't finish the play. Hjärup's Matthias Arenstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Hjärup from getting a goal against them. Matthias Arenstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lundkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hjärup's Frans Hultin got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Svensson in the 85th minute of play forced Dalby's goalkeeper Peter Haraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Simonsson was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Hjärup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Simonsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dalby booed when Hjärup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie Beckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
