Adrian Flink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, Vallentuna IF's goalkeeper Joachim Vennerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Duset. Bengt-Arne Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Patrik Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Frank Brummer put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adrian Flink. Adrian Flink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Nilsson in the 35th minute of play. Ingvar Söderström hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Resedans Idrottsförening's Jan Vennerkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigvard Billström charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sigvard Billström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Sigvard Billström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Flink stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Frank Brummer got in the 41st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adrian Flink handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Patrik Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Urban Hellqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resedans Idrottsförening's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vallentuna IF the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Resedans Idrottsförening was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urban Hellqvist to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Resedans Idrottsförening's Adrian Flink got control of the ball when Patrik Nilsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rickard Finsberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Patrik Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vallentuna IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vallentuna IF's Patrik Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Vallentuna IF's Patrik Nilsson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Flink was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingvar Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adrian Flink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Resedans Idrottsförening's Urban Hellqvist got a free kick in the 94th minute. Vallentuna IF played a much better game than Resedans Idrottsförening and deserved their victory. The Resedans Idrottsförening players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
