Spectators: 7361 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 122) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Allan Rolfsson kicked off to start the match. Eric Håkansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Svartengren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Skark in the 13th minute of play forced Sävedalen IF's goalkeeper Henrik Wennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Wennerström having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Sävedalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Rolfsson came free, but Henrik Wennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Wallin in the 19th minute of play forced Vackfors IK's goalkeeper Georg Svartengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Svartengren having to interfere. If Allan Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Ove Skark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Henrik Wennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Vackfors IK's Melker Sandberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jörgen Henriksson's late challenge caught a Vackfors IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes Sävedalen IF got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Henriksson. 35 minutes into the match, Vackfors IK's Rickard Svanström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Henrik Wennerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Skark went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Wallin to make the kick off. Rickard Svanström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Skark cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Henrik Wennerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Allan Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st play minute Sven-Ove Skark came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrik Wennerström. 1-3. 78 minutes into the match, Vackfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wallin came free, but Georg Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Allan Rolfsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vackfors IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Rolfsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vackfors IK's Allan Rolfsson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Stig Sörman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mattias Wallin might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Svartengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattias Wallin ran back to his position shaking his head. The Sävedalen IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vackfors IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
