In the 16th minute, Arne Blomberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nösund fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Nösund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. When Tomas Gustavsson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nösund's protests and gave Tomas Gustavsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Tomas Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eskil Olenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Roland Isaksson made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Nösund's Peter Telin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Peter Telin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nösund protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Peter Telin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nösund! Jerry Skoog walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Rutger Kilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evert Skålberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Wennerström went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Viskafors IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nösund were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Birger Classon made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Nösund getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Tomas Gustavsson hit a great ball. Roland Isaksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Bergstedt in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Harry Wennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nösund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Wennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Birger Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viskafors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Classon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Isaksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Skålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Wennerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rutger Kilberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evert Skålberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rutger Kilberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Evert Skålberg made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Harry Wennerström sent off a good shot on target. Evert Skålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Wennerström in the 69th minute of the match. Harry Wennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Skålberg having to interfere. Harry Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Viskafors IF booed when Nösund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jens Bergstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Isaksson was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After 90 played minutes Nösund got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Gustavsson. Viskafors IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Harry Wennerström scored to the left of an out of position Evert Skålberg, making the score, 0-3. The Viskafors IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nösund's performance. The match ended with a win for Nösund.
