In the 16th minute, Christer Jespersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Albert Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Christer Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Karl-Åke Botvidsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anders Illegala Kobojsare and the FC Juventus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. Per-Erik Larsfelt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Thorsberg's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute of the match, Christer Jespersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Wallengren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anders Illegala Kobojsare's Christer Jespersson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Albert Thorsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anders Illegala Kobojsare the free kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Christer Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anders Illegala Kobojsare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
