Ljungberg Talanger's Torsten Ivarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Göran Bark made a huge save. In the 10thth minute of the game Christian Kjellkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungberg Talanger's Gunnar Sjögren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes BK Tåpaj got a freekick which was hit by Sven Skröder. 15 minutes into the match, BK Tåpaj's goalkeeper Göran Bark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Landin. In the 16thth minute of the game Torsten Ivarsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Tåpaj's Göran Bark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andreas Söderlund hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Gunnar Sjögren came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Tåpaj's Kaj Britz. But to his dismay, Kaj Britz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Göran Bark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Ivarsson in the 22nd minute of play. Ted Larsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kjellkvist in the 28th minute of play forced Ljungberg Talanger's goalkeeper Gunnar Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kaj Britz came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the BK Tåpaj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaj Britz couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Britz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Landin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Göran Bark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torsten Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Bark having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Ljungberg Talanger's Torsten Ivarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Kjellkvist was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Ljungberg Talanger got a freekick which was hit by Georg Thidén. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kjellkvist in the 62nd minute of play forced Ljungberg Talanger's goalkeeper Gunnar Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Georg Thidén fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungberg Talanger's protests and gave Georg Thidén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Ljungberg Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Thidén to maneuver through the defense. Ljungberg Talanger's Gunnar Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Kjellkvist in the 66th minute of play. When Victor Landin came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ljungberg Talanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Landin couldn't finish the play. If Torsten Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Bark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Landin in the 79th minute of the match. Torsten Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Bark having to interfere.
