Spectators: 7337 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Pa Dembo IF's Tommy Anselius started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Georg Thidén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Per Ekelund. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Gunnar Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tang Shu Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Julio Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Sjögren was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Gunnar Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Iigo in the 12th minute of play. Gunnar Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tang Shu Zhen scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Sjögren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Tommy Anselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Sjögren was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. When Tang Shu Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pa Dembo IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tang Shu Zhen couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ljungberg Talanger's goalkeeper Gunnar Sjögren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tang Shu Zhen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gunnar Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Anselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Sjögren having to interfere. Wen Rong Chao hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The long shot by Roland Gulliksson in the 34th minute really tested Per Ekelund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommy Anselius in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the game, Pa Dembo IF's Egon Sjödin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Sjögren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Per Ekelund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Landin in the 46th minute. Gunnar Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Pa Dembo IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torsten Ivarsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ljungberg Talanger getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. After 62 minutes of play, Pa Dembo IF's Julio Iigo made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Sjögren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gunnar Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Anselius in the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungberg Talanger's zone, Tang Shu Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Sjögren came out of the goal and Tang Shu Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Egon Sjödin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Sjögren. Egon Sjödin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Tang Shu Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Sjögren having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Egon Sjödin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ljungberg Talanger's Gunnar Sjögren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Iigo scored 1-6 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Sjögren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Anselius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Ljungberg Talanger's goalkeeper Gunnar Sjögren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tang Shu Zhen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Anselius in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Sjögren saved Ljungberg Talanger from getting behind. Roland Gulliksson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Pa Dembo IF's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 91st minute of the game, when Wen Rong Chao after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Ljungberg Talanger's goal. Wen Rong Chao was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Per Ekelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Pa Dembo IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Lidberg came free, but Per Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
