In the 4th minute Frank Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stensele BF's Frank Ahlström got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes in the game, Frank Ahlström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kjell-Arne Löfkvist having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Niklas Melberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fold HK and the Stensele BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Kjell-Arne Löfkvist, was totally fooled by Stensele BF's Edvard Algren, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fold HK's Kjell-Arne Löfkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Fold HK from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Thor Nyman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stensele BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fold HK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stensele BF's Thor Nyman got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Peder Ström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stensele BF's Nils-Åke Abrahamsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Lång hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Peder Ström made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Åke Abrahamsson. Stensele BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kjell-Arne Löfkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Ahlström to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Fold HK defense, Frank Ahlström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell-Arne Löfkvist. The Fold HK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell-Arne Löfkvist should have stopped the shot. Mikael Nordins short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Nils-Åke Abrahamsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Mikael Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Frank Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stensele BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Ahlström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell-Arne Löfkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Algren hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Frank Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Löfkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Löfkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Ahlström, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kjell-Arne Löfkvist came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Stensele BF's Thor Nyman. But to his dismay, Thor Nyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Stensele BF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
