Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommy Lindström started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Tommy Lindström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tommy Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Samuel Bock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Asante IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Utfal to maneuver through the defense. Lars Fristedt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Asante IF's Tommy Lindström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Bock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Bro's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Lindström came free, but Samuel Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Asante IF's Tommy Lindström fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Claes Utfal fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asante IF's protests and gave Claes Utfal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Asante IF's Claes Utfal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Andreas Wahlnäs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Samuel Bock skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tommy Lindström 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Tommy Lindström scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Bock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Asante IF's Andreas Wahlnäs got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bro's zone, Andreas Wahlnäs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Bock came out of the goal and Andreas Wahlnäs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Tommy Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Bock was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Ove Mossberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Tommy Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Mossberg struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aleksander Sjöström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bro. In the 67th minute, Tommy Lindström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Bock was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jan-Ove Mossberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Bock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Lindström's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Asante IF's Andreas Wahlnäs in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bro's goalie prevented a goal. Samuel Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Lindström in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Ludvig Paulin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Sven-Edvin Barck fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bro's protests and gave Sven-Edvin Barck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bro's Sven-Edvin Barck got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Andreas Wahlnäs scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Bock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Asante IF fully deserved thier win.
