Spectators: 4989 (Terracing: 3300, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christer Pilberg started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Dream Team FC booed when Rinkeby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hampus Alström fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dream Team FC's protests and gave Hampus Alström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Hampus Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Falk in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Boris Lindell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Nordmark stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Pilberg's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Anton Andersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jim Ekström in the 15th minute. Sigvard Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Falk in the 16th minute of the match. Anton Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Nordmark having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Christer Pilberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Nordmark was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Westerstrand in the 31st minute of play forced Rinkeby IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Christer Pilberg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rinkeby IF's Sigvard Nordmark tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Christer Pilberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rinkeby IF's Sigvard Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Pilberg in the 36th minute of play. Sigvard Nordmark came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dream Team FC's Christer Pilberg. But to his dismay, Christer Pilberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Hedlund in the 47th minute of play forced Rinkeby IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dream Team FC's Anton Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Dream Team FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dream Team FC made a substitution. Georg Wickander replaced Folke Falk. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boris Lindell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kurt Hedlund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Dream Team FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christer Pilberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Nordmark having to make a save. In the 64th play minute Bengt-Arne Westerstrand came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sigvard Nordmark. 0-4. If Bengt-Arne Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Christer Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bengt-Arne Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Pilberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Sigvard Nordmark made a huge save. When Christer Pilberg in the 76th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Sigvard Nordmark kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 86th minute, Christer Pilberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christer Pilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christer Pilberg came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dream Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Pilberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkeby IF's zone, Georg Wickander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Nordmark came out of the goal and Georg Wickander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rinkeby IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Kurt Hedlund scored to the left of an out of position Sigvard Nordmark, making the score, 0-6. Dream Team FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
