The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brian Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Pilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Dream Team FC's Bengt-Arne Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Dream Team FC's Christer Pilberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Kurt Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Hellström having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Christer Pilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dream Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Pilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Cane lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 21 played minutes Green Street Hooligans got a freekick which was hit by Richard Cane. Christer Pilberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brian Hellström could save by the left post. Bengt-Arne Westerstrand struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Brian Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream Team FC. Folke Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Hellström having to interfere. Kurt Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brian Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Green Street Hooligans's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Pilberg came free, but Brian Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Green Street Hooligans's zone, Christer Pilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Hellström came out of the goal and Christer Pilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Brian Hellström managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Dream Team FC's Christer Pilberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When %teams%'s Christer Pilberg was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-0 just inside the left pole, 44 minutes into the game. Brian Hellström was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Dream Team FC's Georg Wickander was substituted for Folke Falk. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christer Pilberg made a kick off. Dream Team FC's Anton Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Dream Team FC from getting a goal against them. Bengt-Arne Westerstrand struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Brian Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dream Team FC. Brian Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Wickander in the 64th minute of play. Christer Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute Bengt-Arne Westerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Christer Pilberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Street Hooligans's Brian Hellström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Dream Team FC's Bengt-Arne Westerstrand made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Hellström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Westerstrand notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Green Street Hooligans's Brian Hellström. Brian Hellström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bengt-Arne Westerstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christer Pilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute.
