Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) FC Zoccers's Sigvard Mattsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Sigvard Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigvard Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Mattsson in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Alexander Bokelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ted Grönlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zoccers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Grönlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute Sigvard Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Nordmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Rinkeby IF got a freekick which was hit by Frans Wallin. In the 19th minute, Sigvard Mattsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sigvard Nordmark, passed just outside the right post. 21 minutes into the game, Christer Jonsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zoccers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinkeby IF the free kick. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Rinkeby IF. Olof Wickander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fritz Sjöberg. 0-1. Fritz Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fritz Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Lindell in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Alexander Bokelund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinkeby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Bokelund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fritz Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Lindell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Mattsson in the 42nd minute of the match. The FC Zoccers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rinkeby IF were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boris Lindell made a kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Zoccers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olof Wickander was slow to take the kick. During this time Rinkeby IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Zoccers's goalie and right to Jim Ekström. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Zoccers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Verner Kleen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zoccers's supporters rose to their feet, but Verner Kleen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Nordmark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Björkdal charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casper Björkdal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Casper Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Skröder in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Mattsson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sigvard Nordmark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Verner Kleen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Bokelund got free with Fritz Sjöberg in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sigvard Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Lindell in the 88th minute of play forced FC Zoccers's goalkeeper Fritz Sjöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Kleen in the 90th minute of the match. Verner Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Nordmark having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Sigvard Mattsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rinkeby IF's Sigvard Nordmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jim Ekström's late challenge caught a FC Zoccers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Zoccers booed when Rinkeby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sigvard Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Nordmark having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Zoccers players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
