Spectators: 4963 (Terracing: 3300, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. George Björklund started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Björklund in the 3rd minute of play forced Rinkeby IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jim Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rinkeby IF's protests and gave Jim Ekström a yellow card for diving instead. Patrik Linquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sigvard Nordmark. Rinkeby IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkeby IF's zone, George Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Nordmark came out of the goal and George Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Alströmmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Hemmingsmark IK's Ove Alströmmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sigvard Nordmark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sigvard Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Hemmingsmark IK's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Lindell came free, but Jonathan Stenquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Stenquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Bokelund went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. George Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Nordmark having to interfere. Sven-Erik Lennartsson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Jonathan Stenquist was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Boris Lindell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boris Lindell really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jonathan Stenquist didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, Joakim Smefeldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sigvard Nordmark. Rinkeby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joakim Smefeldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Lindell to make the kick off. A collision led to Rinkeby IF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Casper Wennerberg hit a great ball. George Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Nordmark having to interfere. If Alexander Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Ekström got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th minute, Jim Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Björklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sigvard Nordmark having to make a save. Albert Alrot charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albert Alrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Hemmingsmark IK got a freekick which was hit by Albert Alrot. Sigvard Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. George Björklund struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sigvard Nordmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hemmingsmark IK. 85 minutes into the match, Rinkeby IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Nordmark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Alströmmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bokelund in the 87th minute of play forced Hemmingsmark IK's goalkeeper Jonathan Stenquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigvard Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Björklund in the 92nd minute of play. Ove Alströmmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigvard Nordmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Hemmingsmark IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
