Kent Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Markusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Hedlund in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Magkatarr IF's zone, Arvid Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Markusson came out of the goal and Arvid Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Arvid Bengtsson made a precise shot to the right of Kent Markusson. Magkatarr IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Ingmar Adelsköld came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Magkatarr IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingmar Adelsköld couldn't finish the play. Per-Oskar Målare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sonny Löfdahl went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 27th match minute, Magkatarr IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Kvick to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Magkatarr IF's Sonny Löfdahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Oskar Målare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Bengtsson in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Markusson saved Magkatarr IF from getting behind. With a little luck, Magkatarr IF's Kent Markusson got control of the ball when Arvid Bengtsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute Aaron Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Oskar Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Löfdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Arvid Bengtsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kent Markusson. That made the score 2-2 in the 45 minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Bengtsson was the one to do the kick off. Praetorians IF's Kaj Burman got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sune Blomqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 55th playminute. Kent Markusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Aaron Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kent Markusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praetorians IF. Bo Aronsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Arvid Bengtsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Markusson was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Arvid Bengtsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Praetorians IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Kent Markusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With 82 minutes on the clock, Stig-Arne Bergvall commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Praetorians IF getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Stig-Arne Bergvall hit a great ball. If Aaron Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Aronsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Markusson having to interfere.
