He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 30 minutes, Leo Pettersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävsjöström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Pettersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mårdstigen FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Torbjörn Bruhn hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, Sävsjöström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Hernström to maneuver through the defense. If Jon Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Ödmann in the 56th minute of play forced Sävsjöström's goalkeeper Elias Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Fred Alebom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Linus Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Sävsjöström could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mårdstigen FC throughout the match.
