Kåre Vedholm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Linquist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The tension between the R.I.P. Kurbs United and the Astral Claws players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Nyman to make the kick off. Håkan Tingelholm hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Alefors in the 59th minute of play forced Astral Claws's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kåre Vedholm in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Linquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astral Claws's Henry Nyman got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thomas Bogren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jan-Erik Cane made a huge save. Henry Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jörgen Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
