The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Axel Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Lövgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Mats Uggstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robert Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vormsele's David Lönn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Vormsele from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, David Lönn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Robert Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. David Lönn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Zub Zero's Hubert Lövgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Jansson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute Sigvard Flink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lönn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Flink in the 63rd minute of play forced Vormsele's goalkeeper David Lönn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Zub Zero's Sigvard Flink made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Lönn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the game, one of Zub Zero:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Åke Ersman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mats Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lövgren having to interfere. Axel Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubert Lövgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Zub Zero's zone, Axel Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Lövgren came out of the goal and Axel Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Carlsson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Zub Zero got a freekick which was hit by Lars Carlsson. If Axel Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Uggstedt in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hubert Lövgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mats Uggstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Lönn having to interfere.
