William Kellman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henric Wiklund having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Ulf Hammarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Ahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Ahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Lindkvist having to interfere. Bror Hägert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henric Wiklund having to make a save. If Karl Ahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Ödman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Tomas Ödman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nävekvarn IK and the Harvestad IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Bror Hägert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henric Wiklund was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, William Kellman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nävekvarn IK's supporters rose to their feet, but William Kellman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henric Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl Ahlkvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leif Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casper Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Nävekvarn IK booed when Harvestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th match minute, Harvestad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Bror Hägert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henric Wiklund was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 65 played minutes Harvestad IF got a freekick which was hit by Casper Jakobsson. Henric Wiklund came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Nävekvarn IK's William Kellman. But to his dismay, William Kellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Harvestad IF's zone, Bror Hägert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henric Wiklund came out of the goal and Bror Hägert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Kellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When William Kellman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Nävekvarn IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Kellman couldn't finish the play. Nävekvarn IK's William Kellman got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Harvestad IF's Karl Ahlkvist got a free kick in the 86th minute. Bror Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henric Wiklund having to interfere. Harvestad IF's Henric Wiklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Kellman in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Bror Hägert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 96th minute of the match Anders Tomasson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anders Tomasson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Harvestad IF getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Anders Tomasson hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nävekvarn IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Harvestad IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
