With a little luck, Åstorp's Fredric Finnman got control of the ball when Adam Hybbert tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Adam Hybbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Hybbert got free with Fredric Finnman in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixten Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calle Lidberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Sven Sundling kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Yngsjö BF's Magnus Forsell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Åstorp. 24 minutes into the game, Adam Hybbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fredric Finnman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven Sundling hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Hybbert could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Fredric Finnman however easily saved by the left post. Gösta Melin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åstorp's Fredric Finnman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Åstorp from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Fernström in the 37th minute of play forced Yngsjö BF's goalkeeper Calle Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Viktor Fernström struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Calle Lidberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åstorp. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fredric Finnman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Melin in the 51st minute of the match. Yngsjö BF's Gösta Melin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Gösta Melin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play Åstorp's Sven Sundling was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Fredric Finnman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Melin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Fredric Finnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Yngsjö BF's goalkeeper Calle Lidberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Fernström. After a defensive mix-up in Åstorp's zone, Adam Hybbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredric Finnman came out of the goal and Adam Hybbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Gösta Melin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Finnman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Åstorp getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sixten Jakobsson hit a great ball. Fredric Finnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Hybbert in the 80th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Adam Hybbert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fredric Finnman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
