Harestad's Hampus Wikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Karlsson in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, David Spets had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sakarias Vestlund. Norrtälje FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Spets was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Emil Billström came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Norrtälje FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Billström couldn't finish the play. Hampus Wikander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Karlsson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Gunnar Karlsson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hampus Wikander. Norrtälje FF's Viggo Hääger got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunnar Karlsson made a kick off. Hampus Wikander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Billström in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Spets in the 56th minute of play forced Norrtälje FF's goalkeeper Sakarias Vestlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Norrtälje FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Norström to maneuver through the defense. George Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emil Billström fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrtälje FF's protests and gave Emil Billström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Norrtälje FF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Emil Billström hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Harestad's goalkeeper Hampus Wikander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Billström. In the 77th minute, David Spets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hampus Wikander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Ekman went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 92ndth minute of the game Gunnar Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harestad's Hampus Wikander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Billström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hampus Wikander firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kenny Säfström's late challenge caught a Norrtälje FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Säfström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Harestad getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kenny Säfström hit a great ball. Harestad's Hampus Wikander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Harestad from getting a goal against them. The Norrtälje FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Norrtälje FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
