Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Magnus Lindman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alvin Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. August Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Limhamns IF a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Josef Fernström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sysslebäck's Christer Runeberg. 1-0. August Mattsson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sysslebäck's Karl-Magnus Lindman. But to his dismay, Karl-Magnus Lindman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Karl-Magnus Lindman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Mattsson having to make a save. After 29 played minutes Limhamns IF got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Ivarsson. Melker Lindqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melker Lindqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melker Lindqvist was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 39th match minute, Limhamns IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Limhamns IF's Ove Albom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christer Runeberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Albom was the one to do the kick off. When Vincent Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limhamns IF's protests and gave Vincent Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. August Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alvin Paulin sent off a good shot on target. If Ove Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Albom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Adam Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. August Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Magnus Lindman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Karl-Magnus Lindman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sysslebäck's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Lindman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alvin Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Albom struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Christer Runeberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limhamns IF. When the referee ended the match the Limhamns IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
