Dick Billock was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lotorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Magne Skark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Påk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 minutes, Hampus Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viksjöfors and the Lotorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Hampus Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Olov Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Viksjöfors's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Sundström came free, but Kurt Påk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Sundström in the 93rd minute of play forced Viksjöfors's goalkeeper Kurt Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Sundström struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Kurt Påk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lotorp.
