Njurunda FF's Thomas Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Överman in the 9th minute of play. Torbjörn Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Bure having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Allvarligt Talat BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Frisck came free, but Stig Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Allvarligt Talat BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Eklund came free, but Stig Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Aleksander Alefors suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reine Vennerström during the 17th minute. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stig Bure took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Överman in the 33rd minute of play forced Njurunda FF's goalkeeper Thomas Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Edmund Strand in the 36th minute really tested Thomas Lundin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Eklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig Bure. Allvarligt Talat BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torbjörn Eklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Torbjörn Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Njurunda FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torbjörn Eklund couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Allvarligt Talat BK's Herbert Valler got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Allvarligt Talat BK's Casper Biörling got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Allvarligt Talat BK's Reine Vennerström in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Njurunda FF's goalie prevented a goal. Gösta Frisck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig Bure having to make a save. Thomas Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Överman in the 74th minute of play. Jörgen Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Bure having to interfere. Edmund Strand hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Allvarligt Talat BK's goalkeeper Stig Bure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Eklund. In the 89th minute, Bengt-Åke Ingemarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Allvarligt Talat BK's goalkeeper Stig Bure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gösta Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Bure having to interfere. Njurunda FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
