Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hällaström's Ivan Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Vestlund in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henning Eriksson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, Hällaström's Sven-Erik Kråk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. August Rosins short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Hällaström fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Hällaström's August Rosin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Eldsberga's zone, Stefan Ekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson came out of the goal and Stefan Ekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling August Rosin in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. August Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Rolf Drewitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eldsberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Drewitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Rosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. August Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. August Rosin took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eldsberga's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sivert Vestlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Olov Mikaelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson. Eldsberga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Mikaelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Eldsberga's zone, Mats Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson came out of the goal and Mats Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Erik Kråk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson. Eldsberga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Bengt-Rune Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällaström's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Mats Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Bivall in the 68th minute of play forced Eldsberga's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th match minute, Eldsberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. August Rosin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hällaström. Ivan Rosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Drewitz in the 85th minute. August Rosin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson having to interfere. When Stefan Ekman came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Hällaström fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Ekman couldn't finish the play. Sivert Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hällaström had played much better football throughout.
