After a rather tough play, Eldsberga's Henning Eriksson got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Eldsberga's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Frisck came free, but Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Eldsberga's Rolf Drewitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Lundin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tobias Aronsson charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Aronsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Tobias Aronsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Kenny Billberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eldsberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Billberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gösta Frisck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njurunda FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gösta Frisck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Njurunda FF's goalkeeper Thomas Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Drewitz. Sven-Ove Mickelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Mickelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Njurunda FF booed when Eldsberga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Mickelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Mickelsson was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 38th match minute, Eldsberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Mickelsson to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Frisck to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Eldsberga's Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson got control of the ball when Torbjörn Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Torbjörn Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Njurunda FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 played minutes Gösta Frisck rounded Eldsberga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Torbjörn Eklund sent off a good shot on target. Gösta Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Oscar Melander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Njurunda FF and the Eldsberga players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the game, one of Njurunda FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Torbjörn Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Njurunda FF's Gösta Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Eldsberga got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Willig. Torbjörn Eklund took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson. Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjörn Eklund got free with Karl-Oskar Esbjörnsson in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
