If Melker Wallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Myggenäs's Sten Nordlund got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viggo Pihl hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Georg Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Nordlund in the 12th minute of play. Georg Fribäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Nordlund's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Pär Hasselqvist's late challenge caught a Hisings Backa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pär Hasselqvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Myggenäs getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pär Hasselqvist hit a great ball. Rolf Kvalfält struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marcus Delin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hisings Backa. 26 minutes into the match, Hisings Backa's goalkeeper Georg Fribäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melker Wallmark. 31 minutes into the game, Myggenäs's Melker Wallmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Fribäck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Nordlund got free with Georg Fribäck in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hisings Backa's Georg Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Nordlund in the 44th minute of play. Marcus Delin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Pihl in the 50th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Nordlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Viggo Pihl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggo Pihl struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Marcus Delin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hisings Backa. Georg Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Nordlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Delin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Pihl in the 67th minute of the match. Sten Nordlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Fribäck having to interfere. Rolf Kvalfält hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Sten Nordlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Myggenäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Hultman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Sten Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Myggenäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Nordlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Viggo Pihl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Melker Wallmark came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Myggenäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Wallmark couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Nordlund in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Fribäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Delin made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Sixten Kielstedt sent off a good shot on target.
