The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Lundström placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 20 minutes into the game, Anders Västberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Håkan Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isac Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Stål in the 24th minute of play. Valdemar Stenqvist struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Isac Ahlqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Renskav. 29 minutes into the match, Dala-Järna IF's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Stål came free, but Isac Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Sjöberg having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Robert Lundström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dala-Järna IF's Isac Ahlqvist didn't even have to move.

The wind increased when Anders Västberg made the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Ahlqvist having to interfere. Håkan Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Västberg in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Jakob Karlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dala-Järna IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Renskav the free kick. A collision led to Dala-Järna IF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jakob Karlsson hit a great ball. Isac Ahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Valdemar Stenqvist sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Stål kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Richard Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Västberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to IFK Renskav getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Robert Lundström hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
