Bolltrolleri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Väddö IK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bolltrolleri's Manfred Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Elias Kjellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. Claes Gerdberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Stålman having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Elias Kjellman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Åke Stålman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bolltrolleri's Åke Stålman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Gerdberg in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Kjellman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bolltrolleri's zone, Elias Kjellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Stålman came out of the goal and Elias Kjellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th play minute Claes Gerdberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Åke Stålman. 0-3. After 76 minutes, Svante Sillén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolltrolleri and the Väddö IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Svante Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Åke Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Elias Kjellman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolltrolleri's Åke Stålman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Åke Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Kjellman, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Väddö IK's Elias Kjellman got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Väddö IK played a much better game than Bolltrolleri and deserved their victory. The Bolltrolleri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
