Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elliot Hellqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. Viggo Trillkott made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Holger Igelström sent off a good shot on target. Viggo Trillkott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Snell in the 8th minute of the match. Holger Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Trillkott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Holger Igelström in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Hellqvist in the 23rd minute of play forced Harestad's goalkeeper Rickard Ekerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elliot Hellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Ekerot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Holger Igelström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Trillkott having to interfere. Viggo Trillkott acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 38th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ola Hellsing. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wictor Snell made a kick off. Mårten Hammarström charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mårten Hammarström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Kings getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mårten Hammarström hit a great ball. Pelle Sjöö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rickard Ekerot made a huge save. Pelle Sjöö received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rickard Ekerot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Ekerot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Hellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Oskar Kellberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Viggo Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Kings's Elliot Hellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wictor Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Viggo Trillkott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harestad's Holger Igelström got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Holger Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pelle Sjöö fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kings's protests and gave Pelle Sjöö a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Kings getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Pelle Sjöö hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kings's zone, Holger Igelström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Trillkott came out of the goal and Holger Igelström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wictor Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gösta Löfgren was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Kings! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Harestad fully deserved thier win.
