Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Vinström started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Inge Frisck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bruzaholm's Börge Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Vinström in the 8th minute of play. Mike Town Rangers's Inge Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Vinström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Håkansson. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Kennet Hallgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronny Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Åke Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Frisck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Börge Håkansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronny Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Smefeldt in the 31st minute of play. Bengt-Åke Smefeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Holm having to interfere. Börge Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Inge Frisck sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Tommy Jönsätt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Tobias Vinström took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Börge Håkansson to make any attempt to save it. After 47 played minutes Mike Town Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Blomqvist.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Jönsätt to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Mike Town Rangers's goalkeeper Ronny Holm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Åke Smefeldt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Smefeldt got free with Ronny Holm in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Frisck in the 67th minute of play forced Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Börge Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, one of Mike Town Rangers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mike Town Rangers. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, Bruzaholm's Karl-Magnus Ros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ronny Holm. Börge Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Vinström in the 82nd minute of the match. Tobias Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inge Frisck took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börge Håkansson. Börge Håkansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Tommy Jönsätt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ronny Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tobias Vinström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börge Håkansson was relentless in the 101st minute of the game. Mike Town Rangers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
