Dan Ekrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Emil Täman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Danielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Hansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Adelsköld in the 9th minute of the match. If Charles Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isak Hansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Lind, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Knugarnas IF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Hansson. In the 36th minute, Kurt Wallmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Billy Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Isak Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Danielsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Täman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Billy Lind blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isak Hansson having to make a save. After some careless play in the Sunnemo defense, Charles Nyström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isak Hansson. The Sunnemo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isak Hansson should have stopped the shot.

Knugarnas IF's Herbert Danielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Täman in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Sunnemo booed when Knugarnas IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Adelsköld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Täman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Danielsson having to interfere. The supporters of Knugarnas IF booed when Sunnemo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Nyström struck a weak shot in the 101st minute. Isak Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knugarnas IF. The Knugarnas IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Knugarnas IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
