BK Bollrädd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidar Biörkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Kjell Albohm sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mongo FC's Tor Hägglund didn't even have to move. 22 minutes into the match, Mongo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Linquist came free, but Tor Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Morgan Linquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Bollrädd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute, Morgan Linquist made a precise shot to the right of Tor Hägglund. Mongo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Vidar Biörkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vidar Biörkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Morgan Linquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidar Biörkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tor Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, BK Bollrädd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Biörkman to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Börje Jespersson came out of the goal and Jarl Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mongo FC's Orvar Ödman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orvar Ödman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Jespersson having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Arvid Stenquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mongo FC and the BK Bollrädd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Mongo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Stenquist to maneuver through the defense. Tor Hägglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vidar Biörkman in the 67th minute. Börje Jespersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Mager in the 69th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BK Bollrädd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
