Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Egon Söderström made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Jon Hjälm made a precise shot to the right of Claes Johansson. Hammarstrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 8th minute, Jon Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ola Skoglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Felix Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Claes Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Nubbe booed when Hammarstrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Sundberg in the 21st minute of play forced Hammarstrand's goalkeeper Claes Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Hammarstrand's Eskil Skager slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Ola Skoglund. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th play minute Kalle Ekrot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens-Ola Skoglund. 2-1. Joakim Öberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Claes Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Jon Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Claes Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sixten Wassenius fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammarstrand's protests and gave Sixten Wassenius a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Hammarstrand got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Wassenius. Viktor Dahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Egon Söderström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jens-Ola Skoglund. Egon Söderström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Felix Sundberg made the kick off in the second half. Kalle Ekrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jens-Ola Skoglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Söderström in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Hammarstrand got a corner. Nubbe's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Helström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hammarstrand's Harry Helström to fire away a dangerous shot which Jens-Ola Skoglund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Egon Söderström came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Hammarstrand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Söderström couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Felix Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Egon Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarstrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Egon Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ola Skoglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Ekrot in the 76th minute of play forced Nubbe's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Egon Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefan Vase fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 87th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Nubbe's Felix Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Vase didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jens-Ola Skoglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Nubbe's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Nubbe may have spent more time on the ball, but Hammarstrand were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
