Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sonny Moberg got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarstrand's zone, Sonny Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Johansson came out of the goal and Sonny Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Sixten Wassenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sonny Moberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13thth minute of the game Sonny Moberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammarstrand's Claes Johansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pål Danielssons short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Claes Johansson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oscar Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Egon Söderström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kalle Ekrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Malungsfors's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Söderström came free, but Nicklas Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarstrand's zone, Sonny Moberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Johansson came out of the goal and Sonny Moberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eskil Skager during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Börge Odén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malungsfors's supporters rose to their feet, but Börge Odén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hammarstrand's Claes Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Danielsson in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Malungsfors's Pål Danielsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Johansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pål Danielsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59thth minute of the game Sonny Moberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammarstrand's Claes Johansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Sonny Moberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hammarstrand's Claes Johansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sonny Moberg fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malungsfors's protests and gave Sonny Moberg a yellow card for diving instead. Sonny Moberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Hammarstrand's Egon Söderström got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kalle Ekrots short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Nicklas Jonasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixten Wassenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Egon Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Johansson came out of the goal and Pål Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Moberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Danielsson in the 92nd minute of play. Sixten Wassenius charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixten Wassenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Malungsfors booed when Hammarstrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixten Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Sonny Moberg made a precise shot to the right of Claes Johansson. Hammarstrand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hammarstrand players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Malungsfors.
