Muskö IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Runmarö IF the free kick. In the 15th minute, Per-Erik Kråk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Runmarö IF's Kasper Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasper Fastesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kasper Hjeltman came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Fastesson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Jarl Nyqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Häll having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Runmarö IF's Per-Erik Kråk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasper Hjeltman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stefan Christoffersson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Kasper Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Runmarö IF booed when Muskö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Erik Kråk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Hjeltman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper Fastesson to make the kick off.
