In the 13th minute Hannes Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Alexander Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Arne Hafström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urban Engström got free with Brian Magnusson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brian Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urban Engström in the 23rd minute. Jens-Ola Ahlbom came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Lövånger IFK's Hannes Fors. But to his dismay, Hannes Fors quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Calle Bäckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Jens-Ola Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Lars Överman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västerljung and the Lövånger IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Västerljung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Överman to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Hannes Fors ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ola Ahlbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Hannes Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Hannes Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Västerljung's Lars Överman has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Lövånger IFK's goalkeeper Brian Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urban Engström. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Asplund made a kick off. Brian Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Calle Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Hannes Fors kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jens-Ola Ahlbom. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute Hannes Fors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lövånger IFK's Brian Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Asplund in the 69th minute of play. Philip Boklund hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Västerljung's Alexander Asplund in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lövånger IFK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Västerljung's zone, Calle Bäckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Ahlbom came out of the goal and Calle Bäckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calle Bäckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jens-Ola Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Asplund in the 92nd minute of play. Urban Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. The Västerljung supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lövånger IFK's performance. The match ended with a win for Lövånger IFK.
