Alvin Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Birger Thidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Asplund in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutger Hägg in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Ahlbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Överman got free with Birger Thidén in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rutger Hägg's late challenge caught a Västerljung's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutger Hägg helped the player get up and apologised. Rutger Hägg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Telin in the 33rd minute of play forced Västerljung's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Ahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rutger Hägg in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Ahlbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Västerljung's Kurt Markusson got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Västerljung got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Thorsberg. Vilhelm Lindsten didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. BK Repsej's Rutger Hägg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Billberg came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the BK Repsej fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Billberg couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rutger Hägg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birger Thidén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Kurt Markusson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BK Repsej's Birger Thidén. Birger Thidén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Västerljung's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rutger Hägg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Billberg struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jens-Ola Ahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Repsej. When Alexander Asplund fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerljung's protests and gave Alexander Asplund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Västerljung getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alexander Asplund hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rutger Hägg in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ola Ahlbom saved Västerljung from getting behind. Rutger Häggs short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Jens-Ola Ahlbom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rutger Hägg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ola Ahlbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Rutger Hägg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rutger Hägg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes of play, Västerljung's Alexander Asplund made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Birger Thidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urban Engström scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Thidén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Västerljung support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
