Brian Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Albom, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Erling Levander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Lövånger IFK booed when Castillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Vallman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Bäckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Albom in the 39th minute of play forced Lövånger IFK's goalkeeper Brian Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Castillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Erling Levander. Hannes Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Niclas Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lövånger IFK's goalkeeper Brian Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Josef Wester charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Wester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Castillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Josef Wester. If Calle Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lövånger IFK's zone, Sebastian Albom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Magnusson came out of the goal and Sebastian Albom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Albom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Josef Wester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lövånger IFK's Brian Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Albom in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute Josef Wester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
